Oprah Winfrey looks glam on the cover of the May issue of O – the iconic celebrity got a makeover to celebrate the magazine’s 15th anniversary.

To commemorate the anniversary year, O magazine’s May issue features a black and white cover with a keepsake guide inside that includes a 6-page Oprah hair retrospective featuring her long time stylist, Andre Walker. The feature takes a look back at Oprah’s hairstyles through the years.

Oprah said, Andre is “why I still have my hair.” In the issue’s feature “The Mane Event,” Andre’s various styles are featured ranging from pixies to up-do’s to even an afro – with insight from Andre on how to achieve these looks at home.

“The covers are always great experiences. I remember being in a waterfall in Puerto Rico with my hair wet and my clothes wet and I remember feeling like, ‘Oh! So this is the glamorous life of doing magazine covers,'” says Oprah Winfrey.
